CAD and Plotting Services
CAD services:
If you have a design in mind that you would like to build, then we can draft the plans so you can build your own design. It need not be a model airplane. The cost will depend on the complexity of the design and the amount of detail you need. You must provide a sketch with adequate dimensions and notes. Some examples that increase complexity are tapered wings, multiple wings, retracts and extra functions. We do not do any structural or aerodynamic analysis on your design. You will receive your design plotted to your specifications. We will retain the actual CAD file, but we will not publish nor share your design.
Plotting Services:
We will plot your electronic file to your specifications. Maximum width is 35". Length is as long as the roll of paper, but practically speaking anything over 6' or so gets hard to manage. We will not print copyrighted material without express permission from the intelectual property owner. If the design is shareware from the internet, then this must be demonstrated. Plots can be in color or black and white. The cost is the same, but you should be careful with colors because many light ones are very hard to see. Cost is $5 for the first 10' and 50 cents per linear foot after that. The width up to maximum does not affect the cost because the same amount of the roll is used. If you have multiple pages that can plot alongside, then they can be nested to reduce paper & cost.
